Radio Fraternidade FM began its transmissions in April of 1971, through an imported transmitter Marca Autenthic, with only 250 Watts of power, nevertheless, counting on the great location of its radiant system, the Radio Fraternity already covered at that time several cities to the around Araras. These were difficult times for the few FM broadcasters in Brazil. AM's radios dominated the audience because they are traditional and can have at least one receiver in each house.
While broadcasters were emerging with "canned" (recorded) music programs, the Fraternity debuted the first live program with host Silvinho Star. The success was so much that in a short time all the programming happened to be live. From then on, the audience has entered a growing rhythm and FM Fraternity is currently the broadest coverage in Araras.
