About RES2 Monitoring

RES2 Monitoring is the application dedicated to the remote monitoring of the RES2 system, produced and marketed by FIAMM Energy Technology S.p.A. and specifically designed and built for the production and storage of renewable energy in a residential environment.

The RES2 Monitoring application can be used together with the RES2 Datalogger device, the monitoring system that allows the RES2 system to be connected to the internet.

Immediately after having accessed or registered your system for the first time, you can access the screen where installers and plant owners can easily select the different sites, view their installations and observe the main data of the plants.
Once the desired system has been selected, on the Home screen it is possible to view the instantaneous and real-time data of the Photovoltaic, Storage System, Home and Network quantities, which are easily displayed using graphic arrows. On the same screen it is possible to check the state of charge of the accumulation system and view the graph of the energy balance of production and daily consumption, using icons and data represented by colored bars and kWh.

Even the less experienced user can immediately check how the total production (right side of the graph and represented by the yellow bar) is the sum of the other bars: in this case it is easy to check how each day the photovoltaic production is divided according to priority between direct self-consumption (blue bar), battery charge and supply to the network. As for consumption, here too it is possible to check how the bar of the total consumption of the house is the sum of direct self-consumption (yellow bar), battery discharge and withdrawal from the network. The energy balance graph, on the Home screen, is updated and resets every day at 24.00.

By clicking on the Graphs page, it is possible to display energy parameters in greater detail through 4 pages that can be selected from a menu on the left and which represent, for each single size (Photovoltaic, Home, Storage System and Network):
- Power: graph of power values
- Energy: energy value histogram
- Rate: pie charts relating to self-consumption and energy independence
- Storage: graph relating to the battery charge status
In each graph it is possible to select / deselect the quantities to have evidence of them and to visualize them in greater detail; it is also possible to select the period of interest and to enlarge / reduce the graphs.
In the Graphs screens, the indication of self-consumption and energy independence is shown at the top right, and the graph of the energy balance, compared to the period selected for the Graphs display.
