Bhagavad Gita or Srimad Bhagavad Gita or Gita is a scripture divided into 18 chapters with 700 verses. A book of seven hundred verses is called Saptashati. It is a part of the ancient Sanskrit epic Mahabharata. The Gita gets the status of a separate scripture as well as a separate scripture. Hindus consider the Gita to be the spoken word of God.
