Fundamentally, in the grammar of the Al-Qur'an, a word may be classified into three forms, namely:
1) Nominal, ism (اسم)
2) Verb, fiʿil (فعل) and
3) Particles, ḥarf (حرف)
As it is realized that one of the important components in studying the grammar of the Al-Quran is a change in words or changes in the formations of the word.
Changes in word formation, either through changes in vowels or the addition of consonants from the root word, will determine the form of the word, whether a noun or a verb, whether a singular, multiple or plural noun, whether the form of a verb is perfect or imperfect verb or a command word.
To understand word changes, on the other hand, know the basic words first, so that the derivative words are easy to recognize and understand, so that the language of the Al-Quran will be easily understood.
