Fulia is located at 23.24°N 88.50°E under Santipur block, Ranaghat subdivision, Nadia district in the banks of holy river Ganges known as Bhagirathi (Hoogli). This is the birthplace of 'Adi kavi' of Bengal Krittibas Ojha (5th century poet), who wrote Ramayan in Bengali. History reveals after the arrival of Krittibas Ojha (1398/ 99), Sri Chaitanya Mahapravu and Sri Addaityachariya no other remarkable event has taken place at Fulia in past 500 years.
