The SPIF was developed to assist growers in the design of their sprayings, based on Fundecitrus of research on the suitability of spray volume for the control of different pests and diseases of citrus. It is a simple system in which some information, the grower can make the calculation of the application volume and dose of product per cubic meter of canopy and the sprayer calibration. A proper adjustment of the spray helps to reduce losses, improve the operational capacity of the equipment and make more sustainable citrus industry.
