Established in 1983, "The Graphic Arts Institute of Hong Kong" is a non-profit professional organization whose purpose is to promote the dissemination of technical knowledge related to printing, publishing and design. Through the monthly publication of "Graphic Arts Society Monthly", holding seminars, short courses, and various local, domestic and overseas study activities as academic exchange platforms, it promotes industry exchanges, improves the quality of practitioners in printing, publishing and design, and strengthens cooperation with International connections. Members of the association come from prepress, printing, postpress processing, packaging, material supply, publishing, design, advertising and other related industries. In recent years, the Association has been actively assisting industry professionals and members in the transformation and upgrading of "printing" + "design" collaboration, hoping to maintain the competitiveness of enterprises in the industry and to find new business opportunities in the market. In addition, the association also participates in a number of public services to practice the purpose of "promoting graphic arts and serving the society".
