About Mediterranean Youth Academy:
Mediterranean Youth Academy is a youth-led project which aims at facilitating dialogue between Europe, Asia, and Africa and build the capacity of 120 young leaders during a 6-day training program + (2 days for arrival and departure) hosted in Alexandria, Egypt and will work to raise awareness of the challenges facing the Mediterranean.

Implementing Initiatives for the Mediterranean: November 2022 - May 2023
The MYA aims to:
• Promote cultural cooperation between the Mediterranean countries.
• Build the capacity of youth to keep pace with development and face global challenges (technological, environmental, and climatic).
• Contribute to achieving and promoting the fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth, tenth, thirteenth, sixteenth, and seventeenth SDGs.
• Enhance youth participation to achieve peace and security.
• Encourage the youth with fewer opportunities to participate in social life.
• Empower young women in marginalised society and help them move beyond borders.
MYA has been implemented in Cairo, Egypt, as a pilot phase from 25 of August - 1 of September 2021 and achieved great success.
