GEER

GEER is the acronym for RACHIS DISEASES STUDY GROUP. Founded in 1981 by specialists dedicated to the treatment of Vertebral Column pathology. It is recognized as the SOCIEDAD ESPAÑOLA DE COLUMNA VERTEBRAL, and internationally as the SPANISH SPINE SOCIETY by all scientific societies.

It brings together doctors and surgeons specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the spine, being recognized in all areas as the corresponding valid interlocutory scientific society at the level of vertebral pathology, especially highlighting the SRS (Scoliosis Research Society) at the level North American, SILACO (Sociedad Iberolatinoamericana de Columna) at the Ibero-American level and EUROSPINE (The Spine Society of Europe) at the European level.

In fact, it is registered as the Society for the Study of Spinal Diseases, the Spanish Vertebral Column Society and the Spanish SpineSociety.
