The App "VIRTUAL ATLANTIC FOREST - EXPLORE THE FLORA OF THE URBAN PARKS OF SÃO PAULO", invites the visitor to an environmental expedition through the parks of the city of São Paulo to identify the main trees of the Atlantic Forest biome, allowing the user to recognize species and its characteristics. The Atlantic Forest is the oldest forest formation in Brazil established at least 70,000,000 years ago (LEITÃO FILHO, 1987). Its environmental importance is unquestionable as a result, basically, of its biological megadiversity of planetary relevance, in addition to the exuberance of its species, ecosystems and landscapes, the Atlantic Forest is currently considered one of the richest biomes in terms of biological diversity on the Planet.
The “Virtual Atlantic Forest” App intends to bring people closer to green areas, improve the look, showing how everyone is able to sharpen their own environmental perception: seeing the plants, especially the trees of the Atlantic Forest in places where we constantly pass but not them. we realized; we didn't stop to observe the composition of its flora, showing how pleasant it is to be in a green area like urban parks, listen to the sounds of leaves in the wind, taste a small fruit, listen to the birds and see the beauty of the garden.
