Giftolife

Gift O' Life (GOL) is an app designed by Wowzers' Software for organ transplant donation for liver and kidney. The app is designed based on the dating apps concept where in GOL, the genders are replaced with recipients and donors. Members are automatically matched based on their compatible blood type and organ type. Features of GOL include:
- Paired exchange
- Instant messaging
- Donors' privacy enforcement
- Etc...

According to the National Kidney Foundation:
- As of 1/11/2016, about 100,791 patients are awaiting kidney transplants and the median wait period for a patient’s first kidney transplant is 3.6 years.
- On average, about 3000 new patients are added to the kidney waiting list each month.
- In 2014, of the 17,107 kidney transplants, 5,537 are from a living donor.

At Wowzers' Software, we believe that Gift O' Life can help bridge the gap between kidney transplant patients and potential kidney-living donors and influence a higher turnout in kidney-living donations.
Gift O' Life is currently only published in North America and will be governed by UNOS, OPTN, and HIPAA policies and laws.
