BACKWATER program calculates the water lines in gradually varied steady flows in open channel.
It also allows to calculate Specific Energy and Specific Force (for jumps).
Backwater provides : normal depth, critical depth, critical slope, maximum discharge, the flow type (M1, M2...)... and the coordinates of the water profile on the considered reach.
It accepts several types of sections : circular, rectangular, trapezoidal, triangular...
