Global Relay for Intune is fully integrated with Microsoft Intune SDK to provide MDM/MAM policy control for IT Administrators.
Global Relay for Intune has all the functionality of our base application, Global Relay App, including support for sending and receiving communications via personal devices (i.e. instant messaging, text, voice, WhatsApp) and corporate devices (i.e. Android Text, voice, and WhatsApp) with customers, colleagues, and industry peers.
For Global Relay Android Text, data is synchronized across devices. (see video starts at 5:47) Once users declare a primary Android device, they explicitly authorize sending and receiving messages from it. After which, users can access their texts on other devices, e.g. a secondary Android device or desktop.
Users also have the flexibility to continue using their default messaging application, e.g. Google Messages or Android Message, to maintain full SMS/MMS functionality, or they can send texts from the Global Relay for Intune app. To support SMS transfer across applications on the same device, users must grant the Send_SMS permission.
Global Relay Android Text works with voice call recording for Corporate-issued devices, so all conversations and calls are archived as per financial industry regulations. To send texts and synchronize text data across multiple devices and applications, users must grant Send_SMS and Call log permissions.
All data, including Text and voice, sent and received via Android Text and Global Relay App, as well as call logs, are archived for compliance.
