Meaningful Learning Pedagogy Capacity (KPPB) has been implemented in the courses MPU3092 Islamic Education and MPU3102 Moral Education under the Department of Islamic Moral Education (JAPIM) Institute of Teacher Education (IPG) Ipoh Campus.
Course Learning Outcomes or "Course Learning Outcome" for both subjects, namely:
MPU3092 - Explain how the systems of life that exist in Islam.
MPU3102 - Analyze the characteristics of the formation of moral individuals in life.
These two CLOs are interconnected with each other which is then combined into one "BIG IDEA" which is the 'Formation of a Moral Person'.
Based on this 'Big Idea', there are 3 'Essential Questions' to fulfill the learning of the two courses, namely:
1. Will students learn?
Life System - Students will learn about the life system such as the moral system in shaping a moral human being.
2. How do students learn?
Online learning-Pupils learn through the utilization of technology and online learning applications in line with the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic and 21st Century Education (PAK-21) which encourages the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
3. How are learning outcomes achieved?
Student Involvement - Actively involve students to demonstrate understanding and achievement in the "Big Idea".
A KPPB End Product or "End Product" for these two subjects named as MyManner application has been produced under the collaboration between group members as well as advice and support from the supervisor lecturers.
In this application, there are 4 main things:
1. E -Maktabah - ebook
2. i -Tadrib - Learning Kit
3. Al -Kisah - Animation
4. Webinar - Nuzul Quran Webinar Sharing
Benefits of KPPB Implementation:
1. Explore and create new knowledge
2. Allow students to move actively in the learning session.
3. Strengthen and add the 6c aspect in students.
4. Carry out learning relationships with various communities at the international level.
Challenges faced during the implementation of KPPB:
1. Analyze the learning outcomes of the course and generate a "Big Idea".
2. Build cooperative networks through online webinars with overseas universities.
3. Produce a variety of end products such as forums, applications, ebooks, animations, and learning kits.
The MyManner application was developed with the aim of being a major platform that collects and houses all the End Products that have been produced. The MyManner application makes it easy for users to access each End Product more easily without the need for any additional searches because all the information about the other End Products is already available in this application.
