The Boyacá Previene - Colombia Previene project is a geo-referenced virtual worksheet focused on recording the location of people in places where there is an agglomeration of people and when an infected person appears, it can be determined with the information collected that people were nearby and thus be able to take preventive actions with they. Only the information corresponding to the ID Number, geographic coordinates, reading time and description of the place of capture will be stored and only that information will be used for the follow-up of possible infections. Its deployment is national since the Citizenship Card is the same for all Colombians, this being the only way of registration.
Ideally, it should be used in banks, warehouses, hospitals, transport terminals, taxis and any place where there is an agglomeration of people.
This application is not a method of tracing or tracking people as it will only record that a person was in a certain place, nothing more. It is a virtual spreadsheet where people sign it by reading the barcode of the identity card with the device.
This project is a free contribution from the private company and can be used by anyone to contribute information and by any official institution in the country to consult it for free, prior to having access credentials.
