The SACRED FAMILY MATRIX, located in the center and in the heart of São Caetano do Sul, assumed by the Stigmatine Congregation, started its construction in 1930 and was inaugurated on June 6, 1937, in a project by Fr. Alexandre Grigolli, css.
Due to the availability and service, virtues of the Founder of the Congregation GASPAR BERTONI, the stigmatine priests, who passed and dedicated themselves to the SACRED FAMILY MATRIX, left two legacies to São Caetano do Sul: one of faith, in feeding the spiritual life of families; and the other cultural, by preserving our city's historical and artistic heritage.
Celebrating its more than 80 years of life, MATRIZ SAGRADA FAMÍLIA is proud to be able to present the city of São Caetano do Sul, through the initiative of Fr. JORDÉLIO SILES LEDO, with the SACRED FAMILY MUSEUM - CATECHESIS AND ART. It will house the collection of these eight decades of memory and help to tell and perpetuate this beautiful story of faith and life.
