Liver diseases are rarely discussed in public and those affected and their families often lack active support. We want to change that! That's why we created the first Swiss liver patient association - the Swiss HePa.

Until November 2017, there was no national organization for patients with liver disease in Switzerland. That's why we created Swiss HePa. The most important goals of the association:
Development of a patient-relatives network and establishment of a platform for doctors and specialized nurses
Setting up self-help groups and providing further information to create trust and support one another
Increase in social acceptance in order to sensitize health insurance companies, authorities, companies and other organizations and associations
Raising awareness of rare liver diseases among general practitioners
