Central Pulp & Paper Research Institute has been entrusted to collect the real-time data of the Indian Paper Industry through primary and secondary sources. Initially, Govt. of India funded this project through Cess fund but subsequently, the fund is being provided by the Research Steering Committee (RSC) of Development Council of Pulp, Paper and Allied Industry.
This project activity has been carried out in a continuous mode with an annual review of performance.
The objective of this project is to enhance the authentic database so that it will help the Govt. of India to formulate effective policy.
