Grodno is a republic city and an example of how more than 800 years ago the most diverse settlements in Central Europe could become a capital. Officially, Lithuanians, Poles and Russians came to the city, which led to the formation of a multinational culture. The Jewish and Western Ukrainian communities made important contributions.
