The efforts of journalists in our dear homeland culminated in the establishment of the Journalists Association in January 2000, and the Society was officially recognized by Ministerial Resolution No. 588 of 30/9/2000 after years of efforts to find a civil organization that includes members of the UAE press; And to defend the interests and rights of journalists, to create a channel to express them and to speak on behalf of the masses of journalists in front of all state institutions and, most importantly, to promote the concepts of freedom of the press in accordance with the social foundations of the UAE in its Arab system. Journalists have succeeded in establishing the Journalists' Association to become the first public media platform to bring together workers in this profession, which has become part of the state's entity and a prominent sign of its modern development and upbringing, which is celebrated throughout the beloved country.
