The general purpose of the “Safe Scaffolding for Safe Life” project, which is financed by the EU and the Republic of Turkey and carried out by the Scaffolding Formwork Manufacturers Association (İKSD), is; to improve the occupational health and safety conditions in the construction sector in particular for the safe use of scaffolding and to increase the knowledge and awareness of all relevant stakeholders.
In line with this general purpose; To create a safe workplace culture in the workplaces where the target groups are located, to increase the capacity of construction companies in scaffolding safety and the prevention of related work accidents are special objectives. The primary target groups to be studied within this framework are; Workers working in the sector are employers and other family members of these groups. Secondary target groups are university students continuing their education in the relevant departments of universities, vocational high school students training intermediate staff for the sector, educators, NGOs operating in the sector, professional organizations and managers of companies.
Within the scope of the project, online training contents prepared for workers, employers and worker families are made available via e-learning and mobile applications.
