The Laboratory of Zoology (Dpt. Of Biology) and the Polytechnic School of the University of the Balearic Islands have designed Vespapp, used to identify and locate the Asian hornet (Vespa velutina). From the data sent by citizens, distribution maps of the species will be developed and concrete actions for the management and eradication of invasive species will be designed.
