A peace art event app using AR has been realized in collaboration with artist Mamoru Tsukada and Matsumoto University. From anywhere in the world, when you launch the app, you will be surrounded by pictures of Hiroshima atomic bomb survivors, and when you point your smartphone at the sky, Mamoru Tsukada's work that simulates the sky at the moment of the atomic bomb explosion will unfold. When you tap each picture, a narration by Matsumoto University students will be heard, and in the background of the historical video of the world politics related to the development of the atomic bomb and its sacrifice (Hiroshima / Nagasaki), "Imagine (song / John Lennon)" will be chorused by students and teachers. Will flow. There is also a video message from Matsumoto University student volunteers to peace with a view to their future from the history of war.
This event is a project of Mamoru Tsukada "the exhausted sky" (the place where uranium nuclear fission was discovered, Berlin-the place where the first atomic bomb experiment was conducted, America Trinity Site-the place where the atomic bomb was sacrificed, Hiroshima, and the sky was photographed and made into a work). It is a development. Tsukada's project suggests the causal relationship between power, fear, and sacrifice in human society through the politics of manipulating the power and emotions of the atomic bomb and its sacrifice. In contrast to the fact that the earth is divided by all nations, the sky is regarded as a space filled with light, air and water shared by all living things. Its purpose is to relativize events on Earth, to manipulate forces and resist fear, to be free from sacrifice, and to be a global virtual commons symbolized by the sky. Imagine the possibilities. I think that will be part of the reality of praying for world peace.

This event was held as part of the peaceful non-nuclear activities of Matsumoto University President Akira Sugenoya (former Mayor Matsumoto) (Mr. Sugenoya volunteered for 5 years as a doctor in Belarus after the Chernobyl accident), Tsukada and Yoshimi Yokouchi / Video Director Was planned and carried out with the cooperation of Professor Hiroyuki Shishinahama and Associate Professor Ken Mukai of the Department of Tourism Hospitality, Matsumoto University. Ten volunteers from the "Matsumoto University Peace Study Group" were actively involved in the event, and the Matsumoto University Broadcasting Department made a great contribution to the video production, and the a cappella department made a great contribution to the "Imagine" chorus. He gave me. In addition, the delicate and competent programming of Mr. Kenta Hama, a doctoral student at Osaka University Graduate School, was indispensable for the development of this app.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to the president, faculty, and students of Matsumoto University for realizing this project with the cooperation of their respective positions, which is suitable for a peace art event. Also, Mr. Yokouchi, who has come up with many of my reckless ideas, has no words of gratitude. Artist Mamoru Tsukada 8/10/20 21
