The daily flow of Hamidiye water collected from the springs is 1,200 m3. The major part of the facility was completed in 1318/1900 and the water supply and official acceptance was 26 May 1902.
Hamidiye water was delivered to the people of Istanbul from the day it was established through fountains. In addition to the fountains in 86 regions, the ring was given from 126 fountains, including 30 in the Yıldız Palace and 10 in the Beşiktaş Palace.
Over time, both the growth of the city and the destruction of the dispensers made it impossible to carry out this service from the street dispensers at the time it was founded. Since 1979, it has been bottled and delivered to the public.
