BriCane

An application that is integrated with the BriCane stick, so that blind people and their caregivers are always connected.

With BriCane, people with visual impairments can:
1. Send Emergency Message
When there is an emergency, disorientation or no one can be asked for help, blind people with visual impairments can press the emergency button on the stick so that the system can send an emergency message as well as the location of the visually impaired to the assistants.

2. Record Video and Telephone
In order to provide more accurate information, people with visual impairments can easily record the situation in their surroundings using the BriCane application. When finished recording, the video will automatically be sent to the companion.
In addition, people with visual impairments can also call their companion directly. Likewise, a companion can easily call people with visual impairments via the application.

3. Configure Detection Distance
The detection distance between the BriCane stick and the obstacle can be adjusted to suit the daily needs of the blind.

4. Configure the Response Stick
The BriCane stick can provide a detection response via vibration, sound, or both. Users can set these options via the application.
