What is the Doktoroom HELP program?
[VIOLENCE] (*) / [MEDICAL ASSISTANCE] (#) buttons
* When the physician is exposed to violence, he will be able to activate the [VIOLENCE] button, share his/her location with other physicians on his/her phone if he/she wishes, and the physician's union and association lawyers will be able to access certain personal information provided during registration. It is aimed that the physicians and relevant lawyers near the scene of the crime will come to the aid of our “friend who has been subjected to violence”. A file number will be assigned to each incident of violence, so that all physicians will be able to follow the litigation process and its outcome. If the physician who is the victim of violence has defined an IBAN No opened for his/her name and surname while registering to the system, his/her colleagues will be able to provide financial assistance directly to their colleagues without being an INTERMEDIATE PERSON or INSTITUTION. (In case of taking paid / unpaid leave or rest after the assault, in order not to be financially victimized)
# If the 1st degree relative of the physician has an EMERGENCY health problem, he/she will be able to create a "Medical Assistance" file by activating the [MEDICAL ASSISTANCE] button. Our colleagues who can share the details of the request for help by typing in the relevant message box, and who have the opportunity to help, will be able to contact us from the message box just below. The aim here is to show professional solidarity, especially in cases where the physician cannot go to the help of his own family in a different city or geographical location and will be delayed in going.
