Side is one of the gems of Antalya cost and Southern Turkey at all. In antiquity, it was the main harbour of Pamphylia and one of the reachest cities of the region as neighboring Aspendos and Perge. Now it is a popular sea resort near Manavgat in Antalya region with one of the richest archaeological heritage in Turkey. It includes numerous monuments of Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine age.
