About Hjertekampen

Hjertekampen is a free and low-threshold training app from LHL. 3 x 30 minutes of exercise a week will do wonders for your own health - and for public health in Norway. It can be a brisk walk, simple interval exercises or strength training.

The aim is to improve your health and requires you to exercise for three half hours every week. The training sessions are suitable for anyone who wants to get in better shape. Each session is shown in short video clips and contains simple interval and strength exercises at 3 different levels.

The training is adapted to those who are inactive, in normally good shape or have a functional limitation.

The training sessions in Hjertekampen last 10, 20 and 30 minutes. You can do them in the order we have laid out or choose to do other activities/exercises that give you a high heart rate on your training days.

LHL's physiotherapist Ona, famous sports heroes, a doctor and your own mental coach show the exercises and the rehabilitation team at Cathinka Guldberg's hospital, Lovisenberg rehabilitation (formerly LHL hospital Gardermoen) helps you carry out the sessions.

Hjertekampen has been developed by LHL's doctors and physiotherapists, and is suitable for anyone who wants to get in better shape. You don't need a fitness subscription or expensive equipment to get better heart health: Hjertekampen is free, motivating and easy to follow - whether you're starting to train for the first time in a long time, or if you want to train more systematically to make faster progress.

We also give tips and advice on diet, with inspiring food recipes!

Hjertekampen is a natural continuation of LHL's long-standing commitment to - and focus on - public health, one of the cornerstones of the organisation's work since its inception in 1943.
