Houston Tamil Studies Chair, Inc's Mission is to establish an academic Professorship of Tamil language studies at the University of Houston. This foundation effort will be a keystone in endowing additional academic positions for the teaching and research of India's languages and cultures at the Universities in and near Houston, Texas.
