The mobile application "Let's help together" enables connecting people in crisis situations due to sudden and severe health problems with professionals who provide real-time counseling and support, so that patients and their family members receive professional support and advice to cope with the initial shock and stress. and administrative and organizational support when arriving for treatment in Zagreb, far from home. The application enables the provision of digital online services: counseling, psychological support, requesting a service from the service provider or at the user's home, assistance in organizing life during treatment away from home, in Zagreb or abroad. The application offers counseling and support via message, telephone as well as the possibility of requesting to receive the service live in the facilities of the humanitarian association "Fr. Mladen Hrkać" or in the user's own home. Within the application itself, data on users and on the course of their treatment and recovery are recorded, which will enable professionals to monitor the psychophysical condition of the sick person and family members. This ensures the preparation of a quality individual approach in providing support. In addition, one of the functions of the application is to collect feedback on the quality of service. The service users themselves can give their suggestions for improving the services and thus the quality of services. A sense of security is a very important and key segment in the most difficult moments of their lives - when they find out that they or one of their family members is suffering from a serious illness and that the patient is forced to seek treatment away from home. Through the application, it is possible to get all the information and interactively get acquainted with everything that awaits treatment far from home, as well as all kinds of services that the humanitarian association "Fr. Mladen Hrkać" can provide. Thanks to technology and applications, the impression left on users evokes security and faith in a positive outcome. In real time, users can send a contact and a message to professional associates in the Association who will resolve all their doubts, concerns and help them organize treatment away from home. In addition to support in the first moments, the interaction through the app takes place throughout the treatment stay away from home. In addition to providing digital social services to members of vulnerable groups, the mobile application improves information and communication relations with volunteers, social welfare institutions and other institutions, related civil society organizations, donors, the media and the general public. All of them contribute to building a society that is aware of the social risks of seriously ill people and people with disabilities, and in addition they are educated on ways to provide support to such people with the aim of easier integration into the community. The application allows the registration of all interested persons who want to volunteer. In just a few steps it allows them to become part of our large volunteer family. Donors provide funds for work and the provision of social services. Without donor support we would not be able to provide all the services and help so many people. Through the application, donation data and ways to help donors from around the world are available. Professional support through the mobile application is provided by employees and associates of the humanitarian association "Fr. Mladen Hrkać", a social worker, psychologist, psychiatrist and pedagogue. Digital online support is of particular importance for people in rural, assisted and island areas whose access to social services and support is limited due to disadvantaged geographical and economic location. The development of the mobile application "Let's Help Together" was co-financed by the Ministry of Demography, Family, Youth and social policy through the project "Mobile application for help and support in coping with illness" as part of the Tender for the award of one-time financial support for 2019.
