Functions
• Submit receipts
Conveniently scan the QR codes on your invoice with your smartphone. If no codes are printed, simply take a photo of the invoice or upload PDF receipts. With the app, you can send your invoice data encrypted to Continentale and immediately receive a transmission confirmation.
• Digital mailbox
After successfully completing the identification process using an eID or TAN, you can activate your digital mailbox in the app. Many benefit documents (e.g., benefit statements, benefit commitments) that we would otherwise send by mail will then be sent to you digitally. Persons exclusively covered by the contract will not receive mail via the app. We will notify you of new documents via push notification. Certain documents, e.g., are notified by email. We do not send documents, such as letters with forms to be completed or time-limited benefit commitments, digitally. These will continue to be sent by regular mail. If you activate digital invoice receipt in the app, you will also receive your invoices from the selected invoice issuer in your digital mailbox.
• Document Parking
If your health insurance plan provides for a refund (premium refund, flat-rate benefit, or no-claims discount), you can "park" your invoices. Please be sure to check before submitting receipts whether the potential refund is higher than the expected reimbursement of your invoices for the calendar year. In this case, we recommend that you do not submit invoices. A multi-year comparison may also be useful.
• Device Synchronization
After a successful identification process using eID or TAN, your submissions and documents will be permanently saved for you and synchronized across all registered devices. This means that nothing will be lost, for example, after changing devices.
• Digital Identity (Health ID) and E-Prescription
After successfully completing the identification process using your eID, you can register with the gematik app "The E-Prescription" as a customer with full health insurance or with supplementary health insurance. You can then use the E-Prescription app to specify which pharmacy can access your prescription. The app offers additional convenient features that simplify the use of e-prescriptions. You can then easily submit the cost receipts for your e-prescriptions via the Continentale Health App.
• Online Check-In
The health insurance number (KVNR) is your individual and unique identifier in the healthcare system. With Online Check-In, you can conveniently and securely transmit your KVNR to your doctor's office.

The security of your health data is very important to us. Complex encryption procedures ensure maximum security. All your data is transmitted encrypted.
Requirements
• You are insured with Continentale Health Insurance and are at least 16 years old.
• The latest operating system version is supported, including two previous versions.
Unfortunately, the Continentale Health App cannot be used for international and some group insurance contracts.
