We are not alone is a Chilean application that comes from the V region for all of Chile. It seeks to be a relational and interactive social support, where the community participates, helps each other and takes charge of a problem that affects us all.
We invite the women of La Calera, and its surroundings, to create an active and supportive community. To take care of each other, and foster safe spaces where they can find support. Above all, we trust our users to promote actions that prevent gender violence, disseminate tools such as We are not alone and others, in times when the public order forces cannot cope or achieve to make visible all the edges that the issue involves .
Within the application they will be able to alert with a point on the map about a situation of gender violence. If you are the one who needs help, you will have the "Ask for help" button, and if you are a witness you will have the "You are a Witness" button.
Both alerts will trigger notifications to all users on their own devices, and those who are close to them will be able to activate support actions.
You can also navigate the map, so you can see if there are alerts near you.
If you want to maintain your anonymity in the application, we invite you to create a fantasy username, so what is published and commented on by you will maintain your authorship anonymously.
