The publishing project Região Sul began in 1993 with the periodical publication of general information, printed on paper and edited under the title "Região Sul", in full compliance with the Press Law, in order to serve the Algarve and the region Southern Portugal, paying particular attention to the Algarve region and its development.
Today, this information body is designated as "diariOnline Southern Region" and in a non-exclusive but predominant way, it carries in its editorial space the social, political, cultural, sporting, economic, etc ..., exercising its activity independent of any political, social, administrative or religious forces, respecting rigorously the deontological principles and the indispensable professional ethics of the journalistic activity.
