The Radar Employment mobile application is an initiative promoted by the Employment Club of the Gregorio Prieto de Valdepeñas IES, in collaboration with the IT Department of said educational center.
The main objective of the development of this application is the promotion of the job orientation and intermediation service, which the Employment Club provides to companies and graduate students.
The application wants to be a meeting point between companies and job seekers, but without emulating the functionality of job portals, which include long and arduous registration and profile configuration processes (for both companies and job seekers).
The application works, in an analogous way, to the Radar Covid application (hence its name). The registration process is very quick and easy, and it is not necessary to give specific information about the company or the job seeker, respecting anonymity at all times. It is only necessary to include some basic data, which allow linking the job offers of the companies, with the job seekers who meet the qualifications required to cover these offers. Radar Employment is a thermometer that provides us with indicators about the job offers of the business fabric in the area and of the possible candidates to cover these offers.
The application also includes a guest profile, which allows you to know how the application works, without the need to create a specific profile.
In addition, the application allows its users to contact the Employment Club directly to receive a personalized service, both for companies and graduate students. It also includes direct access to the news portal of the IES Gregorio Prieto and its social networks.
Another of the most interesting points of the Employment Radar application is that it supports the receipt of notifications, a means of communication that will allow the Employment Club, to send alerts, to job seekers, with specific job offers, or to inform the companies of any news of interest.
