iNature is an application that provides information to visitors to the Serra de Ouro Branco State Park, regarding the trails and visitation and conservation guidelines contained in the proposed management plan. In addition, it acts as an important data collection tool based on the actions carried out by visitors to the Park. Through QR Codes spread throughout the Park, visitors can obtain information about the fauna, flora, survival tips, first aid and information about the trails. The application will also allow the visitor to store all the trails carried out in the park, counting the number of trails and kilometers traveled.
Applications developed through a partnership between IFMG and IEF with the objective of contributing directly to the preservation of conservation units, through the provision of clear and attractive information for visitors, encouraging them to contribute to the preservation of parks from the actions during the visitation and from information that they can collect and share with the park administrators, to better guide the actions to be taken by the administrators of these units.
