QuickScan is a barcode and QR code reader which allows you to easily scan qr codes and barcodes, and save the information for later use.
The application will categorize read QR code or barcode and decode it depending on the information it contains.
QuickScan is extremely simple to use. The application starts with the scanning mode by default, so that you can instantly read QR code or barcode.
Simply point your camera at the QR code or barcode you would like to scan, and the application will scan the QR code or barcode immediately. When the scanning process is complete, you'll be redirected to the scan results where you can see detailed information about the QR code you've just scanned.
QuickScan supports widely used QR code forms such as URL, VCard, Location, Wifi, and Text. Scanning some of those formats will allow you to interact with the QR code in different ways. By default, you're able to copy or share the information you got from the code.
Extra features for formats are listed here:
- URL: You'll be able to follow the link.
- VCard: You can add the contact to your phone, make a call, see the contact's address on Google Maps.
- Location: See the address on Google Maps.
The application saves the data after the barcode or QR code is read, so that you can always go back and see the result if necessary.
The scanning mode is completely customizable.
- You can use both the front and the back camera.
- You can toggle between different flash modes. (On/Off/Auto/Torch)
- Auto/Manual modes
If you find yourself scanning the wrong code all the time, manual mode is exactly what you need.
By activating manual mode, you'll be able scan exactly what you need by tapping on the screen after you ensured that you're pointing at the correct QR code.
