About APOSTOLISM Alpha

APOSTOLISM is a platformer RPG where you play as Bloody Stump, an unnamed knight with his own motives, in the fantastic world of Sarkus-Bud, where people and triids (creatures with the properties of wood and man) live.

In the Alpha version of the game, you will have access to 1 act of history.

It's time. It's time to tell you what I've been working on for so long and what Apostolism is. First I'll tell you how I came to him.
Since my childhood, I dreamed of making a game, my own world. A world where beautiful music plays, where people live side by side with different magical creatures, where there is a lot of mysterious and beautiful, but at the same time dangerous and exciting.
I carried this thought with me for about 10 years, but I didn't know how to implement it. Well, I didn't know ANYTHING. I didn't know how games are made, how difficult and time-consuming it is. The only thing I knew was that it was impossible to make a good game alone... I was wrong. There are many worthy and striking examples in the world when people wrote music all by themselves, invented ent, characters. And then I decided - here it is. I'll be doing the game alone.
In 2018, I released something (terrible) called You Duble. This was my first attempt to make a game. I had absolutely no experience and looking back, I realize how bad everything was. Tear out the eye graphics, an empty world, and there was nothing there at all. But I released THIS on Google Play. What for? I don't know. I was just happy, not really believing that I could release the game on such a powerful platform myself.
Therefore, I did my game on my knee? Yes and no. I lost a lot, a lot of nerves trying to export the game. But at the same time, I didn't look at what I was turning my game into at all...
Then I had another Euclid project with which the same thing happened: faster, faster release the game.
Later, in 2020, I decided to delete my games. I was a little sad, because whatever games still came out, I love them.
And I began to think: what should I do next? What to produce? What genre will it be? What kind of game will it be?
That's how I experimented. But I didn't like anything. I didn't know what to do...
until the word "Mru" came to my mind. And this word was the beginning of my most important project in my life - Apostolism.
I started developing ent, characters, visual style of the game. I realized that it would be R.P.G. - my favorite genre.
But who is Mr Plender, and why he is so important - you will find out.
But now, I want to tell you what I did and what the game itself will be.


As I said, Apostalism is an R.P.G., but at the same time a platformer. Therefore, you need to work out a lot of mechanics. And here's what I've already done.
0) First of all, I drew everything myself
1) Mechanics of the movement of objects
2) Mechanics of character characteristics (Life, Concentration, Sleep)
3) Combat Mechanics
4) Mechanics of cities (when you come to the city, the music changes, the environment changes.)
5) Mechanics of speech (Hello, buddy, phapha)
6) Cut-scene mechanics
7) ONLINE MULTIPLAYER (the most difficult mechanics in the whole game and for me this is a breakthrough.)
8) The beginning in building the whole world.

So what are my plans? Development will take not a year, and not a year and a half, although I work on the game every day. Yes, it's difficult, but everything will work out. I know everything will be fine.
