The Tri-InMed application to improve treatment adherence of leprosy patients is an application that was compiled and developed through literature studies, field studies and expert discussions. This application is based on the compliance model of the IMB (The Information Motivation Behavioral Skill) Model Of Adherence. This application is designed as an educational medium, reminder and control of taking medication for leprosy patients while undergoing MDT therapy and installed on the respondent's mobile phone based on android.
The name Tri-InMed is an extension of the Sanskrit word tri which means three, in in English which means deep, and med from the Latin abbreviation Pharmacy which means medication. It can be concluded that the Tri-InMed application is an android-based application whose use involves intervention support from three parties, namely health workers, families and people with leprosy in treatment.
Development of interventions to support adherence to treatment programs based on the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standards (SIKI) which focuses on observation, therapy and education. It is hoped that with the involvement of a social motivation barrier in this case support from nurses (health workers), families, and people with leprosy (personal motivation barrier) can improve behavioral skills (behavioral skills) through this Tri-InMed application so as to improve adherence to taking medication for leprosy patients. according to the treatment plan.
