INDINFRAVIT (the “Trust”) is an irrevocable trust set up under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India as an infrastructure investment trust under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014 (Registration Number: IN/InvIT/17-18/0007).
IndInfravit Trust is among India’s first Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvIT) to be listed on a private placement basis on NSE and BSE in May 2018. It is one of the largest Indian InvITs in the roads sector with a network of approx. 5000 lane km and operates and maintains 13 Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) / Annuity Road Assets across 6 Indian states which handle a traffic volume of about 1,80,000 vehicles per day.
The Trust was set up by L&T Infrastructure Development Projects Limited as the sponsor and backed by global investors – Canada Pension Plan (CPP Investments), Allianz Capital Partners, and Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) as significant unitholders in the Trust.
IndInfravit Trust has been consistently winning awards from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) across all their operating road projects over the past 3 years. 4 of the Trust’s assets were nominated under various award categories of NHAI for operations & maintenance, safety, and project management. We were recognized by Economic Times in 2022 as a sustainable organization for adopting valuable sustainable initiatives.
