The Rajasthani chief minister has announced a new scheme Indira Gandhi free smartphone Yojana to all the women living in the state of Rajasthan. Through this scheme, all the women living in Rajasthan will get a free smartphone with internet connectivity, and free voice calls.
Now this scheme has been named as Indira Gandhi Smartphone Yojana. Under the scheme, girls studying in class IX to XII and college and other higher level classes, including the women of the Chiranjeevi family, will start getting smartphones. Talking about Nagaur district, 1 lakh 43 thousand 801 women and girls will get the benefit of this scheme in the district.
Who Can Apply For The Indira Gandhi Free Smartphone Yojana
All the women in the state who are widows or single women and receiving a government pension.
The family women who have completed 100 working days under the Mahatma Gandhi National rural employment guarantee.
Women who have completed 50 working days under Indira Gandhi urban employment guarantee scheme.
Girls who are studying in 9th to 12th standard in all the government schools in the Rajasthan state.
Girls who are studying in Government higher education Colleges.
