Citizen Conan (=Fishing Eyes Police) is developed and jointly operated by National Police University Public Safety Policy Research Institute and Infinigrew Inc..
It is the only "voice phishing public-private joint response network service" in Korea that prevents voice phishing.
Citizen Conan is a malicious app instant detector to detect malicious apps used for voice phishing developed at the request of front-line police officers, and is the same app as the old Phishing Eyes Police.
Citizen Conan detects apps used for voice phishing, such as malicious apps and remote control apps, and Phishing Eyes detects "malicious apps", "remote control apps", "smishing", and "phishing" related to all scam processes of voice phishing. It includes most of the detection functions, such as "Call with criminal", "Malicious IP/URL detection", "KakaoTalk impersonation detection", and it is provided differently depending on the version. Phishing Eyes jointly prevents phishing criminals from the 5 major acts of deception (malicious apps, remote control apps, text messages, KakaoTalk, and calls) and the 5 major channels of extortion (APP, WEB, ARS, ATM, and counters) together with financial companies.
Customers who want comprehensive voice phishing prevention are recommended to install the Phishing Eyes app. Customers who have installed Fishing Eyes do not need to install the Citizen Conan app separately.

* Detects phone interception apps that are abused for various voice phishing apps, impersonating apps for financial institutions, impersonating apps for public institutions such as police/prosecutors, impersonating medical apps, impersonating delivery/shopping apps, and malicious body cam apps in real time.
* Detection and deletion of non-installed malicious files (.apk / .zip) other than installed malicious apps
* Interlocking with affiliated financial institutions
As soon as voice phishing malicious app is detected, it responds jointly with affiliates agreed by the user to block financial transactions such as transfers and loans.

* Based on the Information and Communications Network Act for the protection of users related to smartphone app access rights, which came into effect on March 23, 2017, Citizen Conan only accesses items essential to the service, and the contents are as follows.

-Storage space: Scans and deletes uninstalled malicious apps
* In the case of operating systems under Android 6.0, individual consent for access rights is not possible.
Therefore, it is recommended to update the operating system to Android 6.0 or higher using the software update function of the terminal.
