E 'among young people of the parish of St. John the Baptist Fasano - the brainchild of Don Salvatore Carbonara - who was born in the spring of 1977 a new experience of "social communication" means a radio station to serve the community and the region.
It is called "RADIO diakonia" deriving from the greek "diaconéo", or "service" just to indicate what would have been the primary task of the issuer.
During these years have come and gone in that service hundreds of contributors who have donated their time and their professional skills, giving you a rich culture and a highly charged constantly renewed enthusiasm.
Radio Diaconate from 1998 is part of the syndication InBlu ... which brings together more than 200 local radio stations throughout the country.
The project started with the aim of creating a synergy between local and national levels, enabling the individual broadcasters to offer their wealth of ideas and content remain rooted to the territory of belonging, thus helping to create information with insights and original points of view.
Our schedule offers 25 daily editions of local and national news as well as 2 press clippings, magazines, interviews, meetings and comments with the protagonists of the sport, politics and the news, history, traditions, cuisine and culture of the area, the initiatives of the weekend, shows, links, direct and moments of prayer and reflection.
The preparation of RADIO diaconate is also present with news, events and pages dedicated to the area and tourism, on the web with its portal www.radiodiaconia.it.
