Al-Jami 'or commonly known as Sahih Muslim Book is a book (book) collection of hadith compiled by Imam Muslim (full name: Abul Husain Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Naisaburi) that lived between 202 to 261 Hijra. He is a disciple of Imam Bukhari.
Saheeh Muslim, is divided into several books where each book consists of several chapters. The chapter titles indicate Imam Muslim jurisprudence of the hadiths contained therein. Sahih Bukhari along with Sahih Muslim is referred to as ash-Shahihain (Two Books Saheeh primary reference). In compiling the book Saheeh, Muslim Imam did not give a number. Later on added to the number in the Sahih Muslim hadith to facilitate reconciliation.
