【Overview of national law information service】
The Ministry of Government Legislation has developed and distributed an application free of charge so that all legal information in Korea, including laws and precedents, can be searched at once on a smartphone.
You can easily and conveniently search for various legal information anytime, anywhere for free. This service is being promoted as part of the “national legal information integrated search service project” that the Ministry of Government Legislation continues to promote. In the future, we will continue to strive to improve the quality of service (QoS) of national legal information, including creating new, more convenient services. We ask for your interest and use.
【Contents of national legal information service】 (approximately 4.7 million items in total)
1. Statutes (constitution, laws, presidential decree, prime ministerial decree/ministery decree, modern laws)
2. Administrative rules (directives/regulations/notices of central ministries and constitutional agencies)
3. Local government regulations (local government ordinances/rules)

【How to use】
1. Select the button for the type of law you want to find.
2. Enter keywords, promulgation (case law) number, promulgation (judgment) date, etc. and click the search button.
3. Click on the desired law (precedent) from the searched list and check the text.
