About Instant ShoppingList

This application was initially built for myself, in order to solve the problem of having to keep track of groceries that need to be bought every other day or so as part of a keto, one meal a day type of a diet.

Always having fresh vegetables, dairy products and meats around requires frequent trips to the store and as such lots of instances where a shopping list needs to be cropped very quickly based on what products are still laying around in the storage area or fridge and input from oneself and other family members on what else needs to be bought in the next shopping trip.

I experimented for more than two years on how an application could make this task easier, and the conclusion was that in order to be relevant, that application would need to, at least, tackle the following:
- make it easy to create, evolve and access the sum of all products that are being consumed regularly in the household
- make it easy to crop a shopping list for the next shopping trip based on products that are already recorded in the application and new ones
- it should be possible to go around the house, look in the fridge and other storage areas and talk to other members of the family about what needs to be bought next and record everything in the application instantly
- using that application should be at least as easy, fast and reliable as writing the list down on a piece of paper

This application was designed to simply solve the above and nothing more, functionality is key here.

The app also includes lots of in-depth explanation on how it works in the About and FAQ sections, if of interest.

I do not make money out of this, it is just an application I created for myself and I thought I would share it with others.

If you'd like to try it out and have questions or suggestions of improvement, feel free to drop me an email at toldasclaudiu@gmail.com.

Thank you!
