Will be held from 5 to 7 May this year the 64th Congress of the Portuguese Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in the beautiful city of Viana do Castelo. It was up to the north welcome the Congress this year and since last done in this area was in Porto, it had to be another destination. The current limitations to achieving these congresses have left us very limited in choice, having found in Viana do Castelo City synergies for assembly and realization of our Congress.
The Viana do Castelo Congress Center, the old Fort Santiago da Barra, a place with strong military history, was the venue for holding the 64th Congress of Spörl-CFF.
Congress this that will unfold in different patterns from those carried out to date. The reduction from four to two and a half days, starting at 8.30 am of Friday, May 5, the reduction rooms for 2 rooms for conferences and courses, getting other for the free communications will be some of these innovations that we will test in Congress this year.
The direction of Spörl-CCF together with the Scientific Committee, sought to develop a scientific program, where participation of foreign guests, alongside what is best in Portugal, will certainly enhance the scientific program of the Congress, making it a more value that will endure over time and that will be enriching for all of us who participate in it.
We as Honorary President Dr. Faria Almeida and well known of all personality, with a unique route in the Portuguese DSB. North man, which always exercised his professional activity, Director of Gaia Hospital ORL Service, who was national policy where he held important government positions.
The city of Viana do Castelo welcomes us with open arms, with their own warmth and friendliness of the region, in a stunning setting and communion with nature that is sure to please everyone.
