Wind energy is a priority on the agenda of the Brazilian energy matrix, this stems from the crisis in the generation and distribution of energy provided by factors such as the imbalance of the energy matrix whose composition has strong participation of hydroelectric plants. One of the solutions indicated by the Energy Policy agents is diversified matrix, necessarily passing through the wind.

From this scenario, the application is to enable a forecasting service of power generation capacity in a given area within a short time, processing history regarding climate information, particularly incidence of winds, in order to encourage investment and marketing of wind power, providing data with a high degree of credibility for the maintenance planning of wind parks and market analysis for the agents of this production chain.

The application will allow the user access to all the information necessary for making investment decision or operation, easy, fast and cohesive way. The database on climate information will be available from Funceme - Foundation Cearense for Meteorology and Water Management.

Target: agents in the production chain of the wind power generation.
