ADSS is a user friendly, spatial decision support tool for afforestation and tree plantation, designed for the state of Maharashtra. ADSS guides users through site specific species selection for plantation based on meteorological, topographic and edaphic factors. The mobile application displays species and its information (local name, scientific name, characteristics, micro-climatic factors, uses and plantation prescription) for plantation activities.
