HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) established the first formal Islamic educational institution in the house of Hazrat Arqam Bin Abi al Arqam Makhzoomi (RA), situated in the lap of the mountain 'Safa' in Makkah. That was known as Dar-e-Arqam. Hazrat Umar (may God be pleased with him) embraced Islam after arriving at Dar-e-Arqam from his sister's house. The name of Dar-e-Arqam eBook has been selected, relating it to this first Islamic institution.
Dar-e-Arqam eBook was established in Nanded on 31st December 1990 to promote the concept of imparting modern education with a unique touch of Islam.
