This December we’re building a quaint Christmas village, piece by piece, every day of Advent! Model Christmas villages have been a festive tradition for centuries and this year we’re bringing them to life with daily stories, games and activities!
WHAT’S IN THE 2025 VILLAGE ADVENT CALENDAR
- Advent Calendar countdown: keep track of the festive season with numbered ornaments which reveal a daily surprise.
- Festive fun: enjoy a new animated story, activity or game each day
- Scavenger hunt: there’s a cheeky elf hidden somewhere in the village every day, can you find them all?!
- A cosy cottage: decorate your own Christmas cottage to your taste!
- Festive pastimes: inside your cottage you’ll find books, jigsaw puzzles and even more games!

We’ve released a new digital Advent Calendar every December for 15 years now, and over those years they’ve become staple Christmas traditions for families all over the world. Our Christmas Village Advent Calendar encompasses that quintessential cosy Christmas feeling while boasting all the usual Jacquie Lawson festive fun. ABOUT THE JACQUIE LAWSON ADVENT CALENDAR APP
The traditional Advent Calendar is printed on cardboard with little paper windows – one for each day of Advent – which open to reveal further Christmas scenes, so you can count the days to Christmas. Our digital Advent Calendar is much more exciting, of course, because the main scene and the daily surprises all come alive with music and animation!
Strictly, Advent starts on the fourth Sunday before Christmas and ends on Christmas Eve, but most modern Advent Calendars – ours included – start the Christmas countdown on 1st December. We also depart from tradition by including Christmas Day itself and allowing you to interact with the Advent Calendar prior to the start of December!
